Graduate Student Hudson McFann awarded Senior Fellowship and grant

Graduate Student Hudson McFann was awarded a Senior Fellowship from the Center for Khmer Studies, which will support dissertation research in Cambodia and Thailand. He and his collaborator Pete Pin were awarded a seed grant from the Rutgers Digital Humanities Initiative for a multimedia project, "“Rebuilding Khao I Dang: A Diasporic Archive of ‘The World’s Largest Bamboo City’.” Hudson and Pete will be producing a digital reconstruction and map of the largest post-Cambodian Genocide refugee camp – Khao I Dang – using archival materials, oral history interviews, and historic photographs.
