Professor Asher Ghertner, Associate Professor of Geography, has joined the Editorial Team of Environment and Planning D: Society and Space. He joins the group of international editors, led by Editor-in-Chief Natalie Oswin, overseeing both the peer-reviewed journal and the Society & Space free digital magazine, which features shorter contributions that investigate how systems of power, difference and oppression shape lives – and how they are resisted and reworked. Professor Ghertner is especially looking forward to editing articles and special issues that foreground epistemologies from the Global South, and working with authors to develop journal and magazine content that captures innovations in urban form and life.
