I am a geographer with experience as a researcher in projects related to ethnicity, urban planning, and cultural heritage. I have participated and advised research projects that seek to understand campesinos and Afro Colombian communities in Colombia and other parts of Latin America and the Caribbean. I have taught Colombian history, research methods for social sciences, cultural heritage, and politics of environmental issues in America.
