Nikolas Kosmatopoulos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Studies and Public Administration and the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Media Studies at AUB. His research interests include: the politics of expertise, peace, crisis, and terrorism as transnational techno-moral forms; violence as a postcolonial subject in Lebanon; the ethics and politics of decolonial movements at sea; maritime political economy; and the politics of decolonization in modern Greece.
