My dissertation research focuses on the People’s Blockade, a campaign of civilian-led occupations at domestic US military terminals in the final years of the US war in Vietnam. I draw on media studies, feminist and queer theory, infrastructure studies, and performance theory, as well as original archival and oral history research.

I have taught undergraduate seminars at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and Rutgers University-New Brunswick. I’m a licensed landscape architect and occasionally act as an outside reviewer in programs of architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design.
